AOF is an association that represents and protects the interests of Oregon University System faculty and professional staff before the Oregon Legislature and various state agencies. Our primary goal is to increase the quality of the professional working environment.

Accomplishments:
AOF worked with other higher education advocates during the 2011 Legislative
Session to safeguard the OUS budget and faculty salaries and benefits, and
to pass SB 242. SB 242 gives the Oregon University System much needed independence
from the state government bureaucracy.
AOF continues to work with all OUS campus administrations to ensure faculty salary dollars are allocated fairly and properly.
