AOF Goals

Improve faculty salary rankings in comparison to other similar colleges and universities using standard comparator lists. A longer term aim is to rank in the upper third of these lists.

Protect and increase tuition reduction plan for spouses and children of faculty.

Protect PERS in the legislative process and, if necessary, in the courts.

Maintain similar benefits for active and retired public employees.

Protect faculty pensions against inflation. The goal is to catch up to the Consumer Price Index.

Protect Optional Retirement Plans for faculty.

Maintain health insurance parity with other state employees.
