History of AOF
In 1978, members of the Oregon University System’s Inter-Institutional
Senate formed AOF with the goal of representing the interests of university
professors at the Oregon Capitol.
Since that time AOF has effected change in Salem that has won faculty the right
of reduced tuition costs for their family members, use of campus health centers,
earmarked salary increases and protection of their retirement benefits.
